Back in the end of June I went skiing a few days after the Glacier in Tignes opened for the summer. I made a half decent vlog episode about it and in my list of things to do with glacier skiing was to GO EARLY in the season. Donât get me wrong I have been skiing in Tignes in the past really late in the season and still had a amazing time probably due to a very cool summer.
This year with temperatures across Europe soaring to 40c it looks like the glacier is done (barring an large unforeseen dump of snow) until the winter.
As you can see from the webcam shot the white pistes of July are now the grey pistes of August. What a different 2 months makeâ¦..
