Why Lindsey Vonn is the best.

No one was deny that Lindsey Vonn is the best skier of our generation, with more medals from more level of competition and world cup globes than anyone I know. She is arguably the best skier in the world!

On Sunday in Courchevel she wasn’t having one of her best days. On the first run she finished 10th, nearly 1 second behind the leader. In the second she slipped to 13th but what she did after the race reinforces how awesome she is.

After the trophies had handed out, pictures had been taken and all the racers had started to leave, Ms Vonn was still around, giving a few interviews to the remain press. When she had finished she stopped by the crowd of spectators and started signing whatever they wanted. The first person had the hindsight to give her a sharpie along with a piece of clothing to sign (she then emotionally burst into flood of tears), then people handed her everything from head skis promotion photos., to Iphones!. Yes someone handed her the back of their iphone 5 to sign. This must have carried on for about 5 minutes, until I left. But she carried on.

She is a true champion for her fans. That is why she is the best.
