I just got back from the 34th edition of the Coupe des Alpes as it crossed the through Val d'Isere and over the Col de l'Iseran in the French Alps. Driving up the twisty, and sometimes very narrow, road the peaks still had a smattering of snow and the weather was absolutely perfect for vintage open top sports cars.
I don't think I've seen so many Porsches in one place. 356s 911 and 964s.
The Italians were represented by some beautiful Alfa Romeos and Ferraris. Each brand showing its different character and all amazing.
From America there were a couple of Ford Mustangs with their pronounced V8 burble.
