End of season ball

After last years slight disappointment of Kalico's and the forever declining quality of the Tourniers Cap Horn in previous years. The search for a new venue this year was paramount. The Chalet des Pierres was chosen and throughout the whole evening it didn't disappoint.
Unfortunately the evening got off to a amended start as the piste bashers were unable to take people from the pre-ball drinks up to the restaurant due to the extremely slushy snow conditions.
The food, from the starter of goat cheese salad, the chicken and vegetable main course and the apple tart and ice cream pudding and coffee which was all impeccably presented and immeasurably better than the crap served by the CH.
After Clare, Holly and Dan finished the end of season awards Bazeado excelled themselves with a final performance of the season that had everyone jumping on the dance floor.
Luckily by the time the band finished the snow conditions had frozen enough to take the weight and allow the snow cat to descend the piste.
A big thank you to Madame Saxs and all the C de P staff for making it an evening to remember. It certainly makes the prospect of what to do next year alot easier.
Or those of you who could come and didn't, you missed a fitting end to the winter season.
The end of season awards The award for the most popular girl (a politically correct way of saying Slapper) was won by Nic (Jump) who beat off from strong competition.
She celebrated by taking ex-seasonnaire and 2003 most popular boy, Hugo back to her boudoir. As he was seen staggering the walk of shame home it was clear that Nikki was a worthy recipient.
The award for biggest male slapper - apparently you don't have to be politically correct when men are involved - clearly went to Greg(TJís) who had his hands full (litteraly) after being de-bagged while making his accecptance speech.
The award for best story went to Chris (ex-Skival) The final award for ìmost talk it upî was a foregone conclusion for Steve Dunsire (Líequipe) whos five months spountings of such lines like ìcashbackî ìwoof woof!î ìfundamentaly...î ìwhen youíre parapenting...îguarenteed him the prize. Unfortuntely he was not present and Neil(Inghams) stood into to give an excellent impersonation of an acceptance speech.
