Last Wednesday saw the inaugural seasonnaire invitation race on the stade in 1850 organised by Magic in Motion and
Ski Higher. Despite the free entry and copious amounts of free beer only 5 teams entered. Two teams from
Ski Higher, 1 from
Skival, 1 from
Scott Dunn and Killimanjaro Jen. Each consisting of 2 skiers 1 snowboarder and I snowblader. Despite the inherent competitiveness of a race the day was more about fun with some very dubious cross dressing going on with the Sundays only team scoring highly on both wins and the fashion stakes. As their dominance became clear it was the bladerÃs race would be the most interesting with the racers choosing to ride switch and even more comically on one blade.
