About this time last year I celebrated a milestone by writing a synopsis of my life so far. One year on and things are pretty much the same. (I even recycled the photo). I havent won the lottery, got married or fathered a love child (that I know of).
You see compared to many I dont require an overly complicated life. For most things as long as I have a fast Internet connection and some English TV Im happy. So you might feel my discomfort when you hear that the building next door erected a crane that, when at a certain angle which ironically was it's dormant position, is cunning positioned to block the satellite signal enough so that only Sky news is viewable. Personally Ive got nothing against Sky News but anyone who has tried to watch it longer than 30 minutes will know that duplication of news is a real problem and there is only so many times I can watch bomb craters in Libya. Regardless whether its a slow news day or not there is a problem filling a 24 hours news day with new and interesting news. Which leaves me with DVDs or Playstation. Regardless of how many DVDs you have, and I have quite a few, the selection process usually results in the same 10 films you watched last week. That leaves me with my PS3 which when it doesnt have a ski movie blue ray inside has a copy of COD:BO instead. My time online shooting noobs or more realistically being pwned by kids half my age has increased from less than 1 hour to nearer 5. I just hope that France telecom don't decide to mess around with my internet. That would be a true technological coup de grâce.
