A couple of weeks ago I returned from my hollowed out mountain lair to sea level north of the channel. Without a dose of Gallic altitude and inspirational fresh falls of snow it’s very hard to write something worthy to send out to the internets. With the exception of the London ski show there is very little Courchevel based news that crosses my desk. That was at least until a large box arrived. Inside it was my annual attempt at t-shirt design. Ever since 2005 when I used the Carlsberg logo as inspiration I have come up with a new design every year. Only 50 copies are ever created and by the end of the April they have generally all sold out. This year I, like everyone and their dog, including a peculiar documentary about Chelsea, have used a classic WW2 English Ministry of Information poster for motivation. Forget keeping calm and carrying on in the alps you need to Apres Ski and get walloped. Available in Red, Navy Blue and a few in Green they are available, until the end of the London ski show postage free. They can be found here The editor |
